Rouble opens stronger on Tuesday on higher oil prices MOSCOW: The Russian rouble opened stronger against the euro and the dollar on Tuesday, supported by stronger oil, the country's chief export. At 0703 GMT, the rouble was around 0.4 percent firmer to 68.20 versus the dollar and up by around 0.1 percent to 77.40 against the euro.
